The belief that freedom and democracy would die under communist rule caused the United States to start a conflict that would last for decades. The division of Europe between the west and east drew physical borders which outlined that the war of misinformation that had began. Also treaties of the post war world further separated the two super powers of the world for the decades to follow. A mother of two divorced a number of years ago and not more than a year after she found herself hopelessly in love with a new man. They shared everything together and could have gotten married except for a few unmentionable details. Needless to say that after a fourteen year marriage and then a five year relationship, this woman felt alone and panic stricken that she would be alone for the rest of her life. Months passed and she did what she could to date; a guy from a bar here, or an employee from the company next door there. She felt out of luck and consumed by her inability to find a companion.
